Three things. Payouts take about 5 minutes and your first site about 5 more. By the end you'll have a real website built for a real business near you, ready to show the owner.

   Set up payouts

   Connect a Stripe account so the money from your clients goes straight to your bank. About 5 minutes, with your ID and bank details to hand.

   Build your first site

   Pick a business on a street you know and press Build a website. It takes a minute or two.

   Look at it on your phone

   That's how the owner will see it. Tap the call button, scroll the services, read the words out loud. If something's off, click it and change it.

Your free week starts when you pick a plan and add a card on Stripe's page, right after you sign in and before the map opens. The card isn't charged until day 8. Cancel online before then and you pay nothing. After that it's Basic at $39.99 or Pro at $89.99 a month, and the client pays one all-in price. Stripe's card fee is shared 90/10, so you keep 90% of what is left of every client payment. You don't need to know anything about websites. You need to be able to walk into a shop and say hello.
